MACKAY - Douglas and family would like to express their sincere thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy received following their recent sad loss of Joan. Many thanks are extended to the staff of ward 6A, Raigmore Hospital and to Dr Macgregor and the extended multi-disciplinary team. Also thanks to Golspie Medical Practice. A very special thank you to all the staff at the Lawson Memorial Hospital, Cambusavie Wing and Seaforth House Care Home and to the residents of Golspie who lined the streets with clapping on Joan's final journey. This was of exceptional support to Joan's family and was greatly appreciated. Minister Eric Paterson provided such an uplifting service which depicted Joan perfectly and was of such a great comfort to her family and mourners. A very professional service was provided by Golspie Funeral Directors who managed all the arrangements in such a sensitive manner. Many thanks to piper Erin Monaghan who played so beautifully. A generous amount of money has been donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
