COGHILL - Dawn and Robert Powell and David and Kate Coghill and families would like to most sincerely thank everyone for their kind messages, baking, cards and flowers following the passing of their beloved mother, granny, great-granny and auntie. Mary Coghill was the wife of the late William Andrew Coghill of 5 Manse Park, Brora where she had lived for over 70 years having been sadly widowed at a young age. The private family funeral took place on Tuesday 23rd June with the service beautifully and personally conducted by the Rev. Sandy Sutherland. Our thanks to Richard Sutherland, Funeral Director, for the caring and discreet service and for the haunting melodies piped by Danny Parkin. Many, many thanks to our Brora doctors who looked after Mum during her lifetime and to the Golspie doctors who were so compassionate to her in the last few days of life. Her very lovely early morning carers and especially Poppy. Thanks to Cambusavie Unit who were so kind to her before the paramedics (young relations) took her back to Raigmore Hospital where they tried everything to help her recover, but aged over 99 years, her fighting energy gave out. She will be greatly missed forever but never forgotten by all her loving family.
