Clothing Fair

Lohbroom and Ullapool Trust Re-Love clothing fair at Ullapool Village Hall on Friday 2pm-8pm and Saturday10am-4pm. Refreshments. Bring along old or odd socks and learn how to create something beautiful from them.

Bracken brash

Bracken brash at Ledmore and Migdale Woods on Saturday 10am-1pm. Help revive an area of young woodland through tidying up the old planting and bashing broom and bracken. Learning Exchange

Natural heritage learning exchange at the Kyle Centre, Tongue, on Saturday 11.30am-3.30pm. An invitation to meet coastal community groups to hear and be inspired by how they have joined with residents in their areas to learn about and care for nature. Films Gu Leor is screening The Big Picture’s documentary Why Not Scotland? at Melness Community Hall on Saturday 6.30pm for 7pm. A founding member of the Scottish Rewilding Alliance, the Big Picture is calling for Scotland to be the world’s first Rewilding Nation. Refreshments and the opportunity for a discussion afterwards.

Join the countryside ranger for a guided nature walk ‘Nature Bites - Bees and Butterflies and More’ at Ullapool on Tuesday 10.30am-12pm. You will learn about the importance of polliators, how to find them and how to survey them. Book via Eventbrite.

Nature Walk

Join the countryside ranger for a ‘Molehill to Mountain’ walk at Lael High Forest Route, near Ullapool, on Thursday 10am-12.30pm. The first walk in a series that sees your reach increasingly higher heights until a Munro is tackled in the autumn.
