PICTURES: Snow continues across the Highlands with more forecast this evening
Snow continued today with Met Office weather warnings still in force for the Highlands and Islands.
Highland Council has closed a number of schools across the region due to the bad weather.
Arrivals at Inverness Airport were on time but the 7am flight to Stornoway was cancelled and there were some delays.
Stagecoach Highland has said that due to current road conditions all X99 services between Thurso and Inverness have been cancelled.
A spokesman added: "Currently all Inverness services are running however for the safety of our passengers and drivers we are sticking to the main roads.
"All services are subject to delay, adjustment and cancellation due to this mass amount of cold white stuff."
Scotrail has said that trains in and out of Inverness station are largely running on time.
