The 34-year-old will stay with the Cattachs until at least the end of the 2026/27 season after signing a new two-year contract.

Williamson has racked up a decade’s service for Brora Rangers after signing for the Sutherland club from Inverness outfit Clachnacuddin in 2014.

He came through the Inverness Caledonian Thistle youth set-up before signing for Brora 10 years ago.

His new deal comes after Brora Rangers have added to their squad with two new signings in the last month.

They include midfielder Gary Pullen who has arrived from Wick Academy.

Former Inverness Caledonian Thistle defender Wallace Duffy has also joined Brora Rangers after being released from Strathspey Thistle.

Defender Millar Gamble has left the club after signing for Highland League rivals Nairn County.
