Sutherland suffer late heartbreak to Falkirk to exit Scottish Women's Cup third round

Sutherland suffered an agonising defeat as Falkirk battled from 2–0 down to progress into the fourth round of the Scottish Cup at Golspie.

Sutherland got off to a dream start taking the lead after 10 minutes and doubled their advantage eight minutes before half time.

Falkirk pulled one back on the stroke of half time as Sutherland went into the break 2–1 up.

The visitors pulled level in the 56th minute before taking the lead late in the game and held on for victory.

Falkirk will face Stirling University in the fourth round.
