The trio came out on top on Sunday as they scored 48 points to secure victory in Sutherland and lift the trophy.

They lifted the title by one point ahead of the Durness team of Donald Morrison, Donald I Morrison and Alasdair Maccowan.

Tain Golf Club shared third and fourth place respectively after both finishing the course on 50 points each.

However, the team of Alec Gunn, Calum Gunn and Steve Holmes claimed third place thanks to a better inward half.

Billy Ferries, Munro Ferries and Ally Melville had to settle for fourth place.

Michael Allan from Wick won the nearest the pin competition with a total of 67 players competing at the tournament.

The teams competitions was the final fixture of 2020 with the season scheduled to restart on January 10 at Golspie Golf Club.

However, due to Scotland being placed into tier four for at least three weeks as a result of the impact of covid-19, organisers say fixtures could be subject to change.
