LAIRG teenage autocross driver Owen Martin is the new 2017 Wick Gala junior champion.

Owen travelled the 164-mile round trip with his family members to the Sunday afternoon annual championship at Bilbster Farm, Wick.

In a strong field of top Caithness autocross drivers, Owen romped home over the three laps in a very creditable one minute and 57 seconds against five other local junior drivers in the under 16 years old class.
