Fran Robertson wins handicap championship at Royal Dornoch Golf Club

The new Royal Dornoch member defeated Fiona MacDonald by 4&2 to claim the trophy for the first time.

The Royal Dornoch Golf Club men's handicap championship was claimed by an American player.

In the men's handicap competition, Cliff Martin from Scottsdale, Arizona edged Dornoch golfer Gary Bethune by virtue of the better last round to take the trophy back across the Atlantic after both players were tied.
