Manager resigns as Golspie Sutherland search for a new boss

GOLSPIE Sutherland are looking for a new manager after Andrew Banks stood down from the position.

The North Caledonian League club confirmed Banks’ departure from King George V Park, where he had been in charge for four years.

The announcement was made after their 3-1 defeat at home to Thurso.

The statement said: “Andrew Banks has left the club by mutual consent after spending four years as manager of the club.”

It continued: “Golspie Sutherland would like to thank Andrew for all the hard work and commitment he has shown throughout his tenure.

“The club wish him all the best for the future.”

Golspie Sutherland also confirmed they will not be taking part in the Scottish Cup this season.
