Life time membership for long-term stalwart

Angela MacBeath was in for a big surprise when she went to Brora Golf Club’s 2017 AGM recently.

Unbeknown to her, the management committee had decided to recognise her long service to the club by granting her honorary life membership.

Angela has recorded more than 40 years’ membership, many of these as a committee member, including serving five times as lady captain and she is still a willing volunteer.

Club president Andy Stewart was delighted to present the award and all agreed that Angela had certainly earned the honour.

She said she was shocked and absolutely thrilled with the award.
