Portland A darts player Nicky Denoon wins Donny Clark Memorial Trophy as Inverness Summer Darts League season comes to a close





Portland A’s Nicky Denoon won the Donny Clark Memorial Handicap Singles after recording a whitewash in the final.

Helmsdale player Denoon defeated Seaforth A’s Kenny MacLean in the final, after Denoon overcame John Bremner (Raigmore Arrows) 3-1 and MacLean beat Doug Milne (Seaforth B) by the same scoreline in the semi finals.

Still Game’s Stevie Munro claimed the highest checkout of the night with 130, while Nicky Denoon led the maximums tally with six.

Hollie Ridgers of Innes X won the prize for the last woman standing, reaching the last 32.

Also on the night, Jamie Fraser was given his trophy for being the Summer Darts League player of the year.
