Scourie learned a harsh lesson in their North Caledonian League Division Two debut as they were thrashed by fellow league newcomers Loch Ness.

The hosts went 4-0 up at half time before firing in seven more goals in the second half.

DJ Macphee and Luke Seago both scored hat tricks with Johnny Hewitt scoring twice.

Ross Harrison, Craig Mainland and Sam Lucas completed the rout with Sam Lucas grabbing a consolation for the North-West Sutherland visitors.
