Golspie Sutherland look to progress from preliminary round in Scottish Cup
GOLSPIE Sutherland will look to keep their Scottish Cup adventure alive when they take on Carluke Rovers in the second preliminary round tomorrow afternoon.
The match is set to take place at King George V Park in Golspie at 3pm as Golspie will look to make it to the first round.
Last season Golspie Sutherland defeated Hawick Royal Albert 2-1 in the second preliminary round before being knocked out on penalties 8-7 by Forres Mechanics after the match finished in a 1-1 draw.
Golspie Sutherland will go into tomorrow big cup tie in good form as they defeated Bunillidh Thistle 7-0 in the North Caledonian League Cup.
Liam Bremner scored a hat-trick with Morgan Kennedy scoring twice and goals from Ryan Robertson and Sam Barclay gave the visitors an easy win at Couper Park.
In the North Caledonian League, Bonar Bridge will be looking for their first win of the season when they take on Alness United at Migdale.
Bonar Bridge suffered a 2-0 defeat at Fort William last weekend. Andrew McLean scored both goals to keep the points at Claggan Park.Bunillidh Thistle will be looking for an improved performance when they travel to face Ieague leaders Inverness Athletic in North Kessock tomorrow.
Two other matches are taking place in the North Caledonian League tomorrow.Clachnacuddin A face Halkirk United in Inverness and St Duthus face Orkney.
