Andrew Paterson wins Gardner Trophy at Royal Dornoch Golf Club

Andrew Paterson lifted the Gardner Trophy after winning by three shots at Royal Dornoch Golf Club.

The Dundas Park golfer hit rounds of 69 at the Struie Course and 73 over the Championship Course for a combined score of 142 to lift the trophy.

Luke Jennings from Whitemuir was second with rounds of 71 and 74 (145) with Benn Mcleod of Musselburgh third with rounds of 75 and 71 (146).

In the handicap Fraser Shield, Neil Munro lifted the title.
