Brora Rangers have been drawn to face Aberdeen B at home in the opening round of the SPFL Trust Trophy.

The Cattachs are one of four Highland League teams taking part in the competition this season, and were unseeded for the first round draw.

Should they overcome the Dons, they will take on Arbroath on home turf in the second round.

First round ties are scheduled for August 10/11, while the second round will take place the following month on the weekend of September 4/5.

The Challenge Cup, which has had many previous names for sponsorship reasons, is regionalised and seeded for the opening two rounds, before becoming an open draw from the third round onwards.

This year, the competition will be bracketed from the third round too, allowing teams and supporters to plot their potential route to the final.
