Brora Rangers defender agrees deal to remain at Highland League club for next two seasons as dates for rearranged fixtures are also revealed





TOM Kelly has committed his future to Brora Rangers after agreeing to sign a new two-year deal.

The full-back put pen to paper to extend his stay at Dudgeon Park until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Kelly joined Brora Rangers in 2020 after joining the club from Ross County after previously being on loan with the Cattachs the season before.

He has become a regular in the Brora Rangers’ defence over the last five years.

He has also proved to be a threat in front goal, scoring previously against Lossiemouth at the end of 2024.

His signature comes as striker James Wallace also agreed a new with Brora Rangers, staying at the club until the end of the 2026-27 season.

But it was confirmed earlier this month that Andrew Macleod and George Robesten have left Brora Rangers after being recalled by Ross County,

Brora Rangers will look to play their first game of 2025 when they head to face Inverurie Locos at Station Park.

No matches have taken place in the Highland League in 2025 as a result of the winter weather which hit the country.

Brora Rangers were scheduled to face Nairn County at Dudgeon Park last weekend.But the match was postponed over 24 before kick-off when it was called off on Friday afternoon.

Seven of the nine matches due to take place last weekend were postponed on Friday with the remaining two games called off on Saturday afternoon.

It has also been confirmed when four of Brora Rangers’ matches which were postponed earlier this season will be rearranged to be played.

They will now travel to Turriff United on Saturday, February 15 before hosting Strathspey Thistle at Dudgeon Park four day later on Wednesday, February 19.

Brora Rangers will now face Nairn County on Wednesday, March 5 and will travel to Keith on Wednesday, March 19.
