Brora Rangers sign striker from Scottish Premiership club Ross County on loan deal

Brora Rangers have signed George Robesten from Premiership club Ross County on a season-long loan.

The 18-year-old forward from Shetland joins the Cattachs after previously having loan spells with Nairn County and Clachnacuddin.

He made his league debut for Ross County in the 1-1 draw with Dundee United earlier this month.

Ross County manager Don Cowie said: “George has made great progress over the last few seasons resulting in him making a couple of appearances for the first team this season.

“We believe it’s important to continue his development by giving him the opportunity to play regular football.

“In going to Brora he joins an excellent Highland League club that have played a big part in the development of other players of our club previously.”
