It has been confirmed on Friday night the 22-year-old has left Station Park to sign for the Sutherland outfit.

Wright signed for Nairn County last Summer after joining the club after being released from Ross County.

During his time at Nairn he made 21 appearances and scored nine goals.

Wright, who is from Stornoway, has previously played for Brora Rangers between August 2021 and January 2022, while on loan from Ross County.

He has also been on loan at Montrose, Falkirk, Elgin City and Brechin City while with the Staggies.

He expected to be in the squad for tomorrow’s game against Fraserburgh at Dudgeon Park.

Wright will boost manager’s Steven Mackay’s options up front following losing the services of Andrew Macleod and George Robesten who were recalled by Ross County.

Meanwhile, Strachan leaves Nairn as they are looking for a new manager following Ross Tokely stepping down as boss.Tokely left by mutual consent officially on Monday following a disappointing campaign for Nairn as they find themselves in 12th place.

His final game in charge saw Nairn thrashed 5-1 by Forres Mechanics at Station Park last Saturday.

Brian Macleod has taken temporary charge with Alan Geegan and Wayne Mackintosh also remaining on the coaching team.

Nairn County chairman Mark Kelman says the club will take their time to find the right man to be their next manager.
