Highland League title contenders Brora Rangers have made a festive swoop for Wick Academy’s Gary Pullen as they look to boost their options ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Pitmedden.

The Golspie-based midfielder has agreed to join the Cattachs on a deal until summer of 2027, eighteen months after his switch to Wick from the North Caledonian League.

The club has confirmed that Pullen will go straight into the squad for tomorrow afternoon’s game away to sixth-placed Formartine United.

Last season, 20-year-old Pullen participated in every one of the Scorries’ 34 Highland League games, scoring four goals.

He has been an ever-present for Academy in all but one of their league games this term also, netting six times.

A promising youngster, Pullen was named Young Player of the Year in the North Caledonian League in 2023 before joining Academy, recognised for his efforts with hometown club Golspie Sutherland where he played a total of 50 times over three seasons, scoring seven goals.
