BRORA Rangers will look to give themselves an early Christmas present when they travel to Pitmedden tomorrow to face Formartine United.

The Cattachs bounced back from the shock 2-1 defeat at home to Clachnacuddin last Wednesday when they defeated Forres Mechanics 3-1 at Dudgeon Park on Saturday.

Brora took the lead when Ali Sutherland connected with a cross from Connor Bunce in the box to fire home from close range.

Connor Bunce doubled their advantage nine minutes into the second half when he hit a loose ball first time into the top corner.

Max Ewan made it 3-0 two minutes later when he fired home a cross from the left wing into the net from close range.

Forres Mechanics did pull one back in injury time through Aidan Cruickshank, but the three points were already safe at Brora Rangers.

The win has close the gap at the top with league leaders Brechin City, whose game was postponed last week to four points.
