Brora Rangers’ clash with Huntly in the Highland League has been postponed after Christie Park failed a pitch inspection.

The match was officially called off at 11:15am due to a frozen pitch in West Aberdeenshire. Brora Rangers are currently one point clear at the top of the Highland League. But they could lose their place at the top of the table if Brechin City beat Clachnacuddin at Grant Street Park this afternoon.

It has also been confirmed that the Highland League match between Keith and Strathspey Thistle is postponed due to a frozen pitch at Kynoch Park.

Nairn County will face Lossiemouth on Saturday afternoon after Station Park passed a pitch inspection at 11am.

Six other Highland League matches are currently scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon.

They include Banks O’Dee v Buckie Thistle, Clachnacuddin v Brechin City, Fraserburgh v Forres Mechanics, Inverurie Locos v Formartine United, Rothes v Deveronvale and Turriff United v Wick Academy.

In the North Region Championship, the match between Dufftown and Nairn St Ninian has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Elsewhere, Inverness Caledonian Thistle are scheduled to face Queen of the South in League One at the Caledonian Stadium.

In the Scottish Premiership, Ross County are scheduled to travel to Ibrox to face Rangers on Sunday.
