BONAR Bridge were unable to pull off an upset in the second round of the North Caledonian Cup despite giving Halkirk United a tough test.

Despite going behind to a Jonah Martens goal after three minutes, Miller Mackay pulled one back 10 minutes before half time.

Bobby Gunn restored Halkirk's lead in the second half as the Anglers held on for victory.
