A morning of rugby is scheduled to take place in East Sutherland on Saturday.

Development officer John Mann said: “We have planned sessions for the P1-7 age group as well as for youngsters aged 12 and over.”

The younger children will be taking part in walking rugby while touch rugby is being organised for the older ones.

“The action kicks off at 10am at the Sutherland swimming complex in Golspie and all sessions will be on the astroturf pitch,” said Mr Mann.

“Trainers will be fine and any young person hoping to take part should just bring clothing appropriate to the weather.

“Ross Sutherland will be providing catering so there is no need to bring any food.”
