Young people encouraged to attend Fèis Chataibh AGM and share ideas for activitie
Fèis Chataibh is holding its AGM on Tuesday, February 4, in the Golspie Community Lounge.
There will be an opportunity to drop in and meet the committee from 7pm for a cup of tea and a chat before the formal business starts at 7.30pm.
All are welcome and the committee are particularly keen to encourage young people to come along and share their ideas for the Fèis, whether they’ve been to an event or classes before or not.

The voluntary Fèis committee also coordinated a range of other opportunities including weekly classes, providing tutor jobs for 20 musicians and working with local partners such as Golspie Youth Action Project (GYAP), Brora Youth Room and The Young Karers East Sutherland (TYKES) to make music-making more accessible in the area.
The team hope to run more activities throughout 2025 and would welcome new committee members, volunteers and suggestions.
