Welcome boost for East Sutherland Rescue Association as company offers year-long ‘mechanical support’
A life-saving organisation in East Sutherland has announced it has received a massive boost in kind.
East Sutherland Rescue Association (ESRA) is to receive a year’s free mechanical support from marine aquaculture firm Aquaship.
Experts from Aquaship will maintain ESRA’s two lifeboats, Wildland and Glen Cassley, and associated equipment, throughout 2025.
A spokesperson for ESRA said members were “incredibly grateful” to Aquaship for its support.
He said: “Maintaining our fleet - including the Kubota tractor and Talus tractor, is no small task and this generous support is invaluable.
“Having expert fleet support like this ensures we can focus on what matters most - saving lives at sea.”
