The NC500 hotspot of Ullapool saw a “new” type of tourist pay a visit to the Wester Ross village.

On Monday (August 12), a motorcyclist was seen taking a pit stop in the village with his motorcycling dog.

Owner Matt Fisher and his dog Ricky, have been travelling around the NC500 route and sharing the highlights to their social media pages @mattandrickyride

Although motorbikes can always be spotted in Ullapool during the summer, it’s rare to see a dog on a bike — particularly with his own set of sunglasses and backpack.

The travelling pair have raked in over 240k views some of their TikTok videos, with commenters pointing out “that dog looks so chill and happy in the bag”.

Matt responded to comments stating: “He is the most chilled boy in the bag. When I get his bag out he tries to jump into it. We love our rides and meeting everyone.”

Ullapool Craic, who spotted the duo in the Wester Ross village said: “A new one even for Ullapool! Just when you think you’ve seen it all!”
