Primary school pupil of the year Sophie Stewart, of Conon Bridge Primary, accepts her award at the Highland Heroes

Sophie Stewart, of Conon Bridge Primary School, was named primary school pupil of the year at the awards on Thursday evening.

The 11-year-old is a charity superstar and for the last two years has gone above and beyond to help others with fundraisers for the likes of the Little Princess Trust, Macmillan nurses and Highland Hospice.
