Celebrity Traitors star-studded cast revealed as TV spotlight returns to Ardross Castle
A HOST of TV stars and household names are set to be ‘murdered’ in the Scottish Highlands.
The star-studded cast for the eagerly anticipated The Celebrity Traitors was revealed yesterday on BBC One.
They include actors, comedians, an Olympian, singers, broadcasters and TV presenters.
The multi-award-winning hit psychological game filmed at Ardross Castle in Easter Ross has been a global success story, capturing the imagination of millions as traitors try to beat the faithful to a prize pot.
A trailer teasing the first Celebrity Traitors reveals that it will launch on Wednesday, October 8 at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
The trailer shows the cast seated around the iconic Roundtable for the first time as they are told by host Claudia Winkleman that their fame counts for nothing inside the castle.
Joining her in the Scottish Highlands are: comedian Alan Carr; singer Cat Burns; actress Celia Imrie; singer Charlotte Church; TV presenter Clare Balding; historian David Olusoga; former rugby union player Joe Marler; comedian and actor Joe Wilkinson; TV presenter Jonathan Ross; broadcaster Kate Garraway; funnywoman Lucy Beaumont; actor Mark Bonnar; actor and comedian Nick Mohammed; YouTuber Niko Omilana; singer-songwriter Paloma Faith; actress Ruth Codd; author and actor Stephen Fry; EastEnders star Tameka Empson and former springboard diver, Tom Daley.
The launch will feature an extra-long first episode with fans treated to 70 minutes of treachery. The series will air two nights a week, on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 9pm.
The celebrities will play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning a cash prize up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.
For fans who want more, the official visualised companion podcast is returning, Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked will be on BBC Two immediately after the main series and will also be available on BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer.
Host Ed Gamble will be joined by the celebrities and players from previous series to analyse and react to developments in the castle.
Ahead of the hotly anticipated fourth series coming in 2026, it is also confirmed that The Traitors will return for a fifth series and applications are now open.

The show proved a breakout hit from series one in 2022 and has seen phenomenal growth ever since.Series three averaged 10.3 million viewers across all 12 episodes with the launch episode reaching 10.9 million, making it the biggest unscripted series in the market .
The Traitors claims to be the biggest Entertainment brand in the market for the 16-34 age group.
The Traitors has also earned a raft of awards including the BAFTA TV Award for Best Reality & Constructed Factual, the NTA for Reality Competition, the RTS award for Entertainment and the Broadcasting Press Guild Award for Best Entertainment Programme.
Claudia Winkleman won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Entertainment Performance and the RTS award for Entertainment Performance and the Edinburgh TV Festival Variety Outstanding Achievement Award.
