Caledonian MacBrayne warns CalMac ferry travellers that the Ullapool-Stornoway Christmas Eve schedule could be disrupted by strong winds

CHRISTMAS Eve travellers heading between Ullapool and Lewis have been warned they face possible disruption.

CalMac has warned that "strong winds" mean that the Christmas Eve timetable will be "liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice".

Passengers are being urged to check for the latest updates before travelling.
