Christmas Eve Inverness court sentencing awaits rowdy involved in Ullapool fracas
A WEST Kilbride man who was involved in a fracas in Ullapool last summer will be sentenced on Christmas Eve.
A guilty plea to three charges committed on July 9, 2023 at the Arch Inn and in Argyle Street in the Wester Ross fishing village was entered for 22-year-old Corey Wason by his solicitor advocate, Clare Russell.
Wason, of Ritchie Street, admitted behaving in an abusive or threatening manner by uttering threats of violence, attempting to goad others and acting aggressively.
He also admitted assaulting one man to his injury by repeatedly punching him on the head.
The third charge states that he shouted and swore, uttering threats, abusive and homophobic remarks and engaged in a fight with others and produced a bladed item.
Sentence was deferred for a background report and personal appearance.
