Transport Police looking for man travelling on Ardgay to Inverness train

British Transport Police (BTP) has released a CCTV image of a man who is believed to have information after a train conductor (a man aged 32) was assaulted on a train travelling between Dingwall and Conon Bridge stations on Friday, April 1.

The incident occurred around 8.20pm on the 7.28pm Ardgay to Inverness service.

The man in the photograph, who alighted from the train at Conon Bridge, is described as being 25-30 years old, of slim build, with short light brown hair and about 5ft 8ins tall. He spoke with a local accent.

Constable Matt O’Neill, the BTP officer in charge of the enquiry, is appealing for anyone who recognises the man in the photograph to contact BTP.
