A lavish spread including a glass of prosecco awaited guests at an afternoon tea party held by Heart of Sutherland Tourism (HOST) at Rosehall Village Hall last Saturday.

On hand to welcome arrivals was group chairman Ashley Smith while committee members Tracey Smith and Sarah Orrell, who had prepared the sandwiches, savoury bites and home made cakes, worked hard behind the scenes along with other volunteers.

Mr Smith said afterwards: “We were really pleased with the turn out and everyone seemed to enjoy the afternoon. The event was attended by HOST members and local residents."

The tea, along with a raffle, raised £166 which the group will use towards the design and printing of a tourism leaflet for the 2020 season. The leaflet will promote both the local area and its businesses to visitors.
