Heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected to hit the region once again tomorrow.

After an afternoon of heavy rain experienced in the area yesterday (May 27), people in Inverness, the northern Highlands and Strathspey will brace for another spell of adverse weather.

The Met Office confirmed that this could cause disruption to travel and possible flooding.

Power cuts could also occur during the day.

The weather warning is expected to last between 10am and 7pm tomorrow.

There are also flood alerts still in place for Caithness and Sutherland, Wester Ross, Easter Ross and Great Glen and Nairn.
