Police ask for public's help in search of Inverness heirlooms

Police in the Highlands and Islands are asking for help to find two pieces of jewellery that have been stolen from a property in Inverness.
A jewel–encrusted gold ring worth £20,000 and a pair of earrings worth £4000 were taken from Muirtown House on Charleston Place in the city.
It is believed the items were taken between April 20 and May 5.
A police spokeswoman said: "Police are looking for any information regarding a theft that may have taken place between April 20 2021 to May 12 2021 where an expensive ring costing £20,000 and earrings costing £4,000 were taken from a property at Muirtown House, Charleston Place.
"If these items have been seen or any information please contact Police on 101 stating PS-20210512-225."
