Everyone nominated for accolades at last night's Highland Heroes are extraordinary.

That is the view of Graeme Bell, general manager of event headline sponsor Inverness Airport.

He said: "It was an amazing night, with amazing people and we're delighted to be part of a community event like this.

"We'd love to go out and build play parks and help in the community in other ways, but the reality is that we're a busy business so this is our contribution and we love to be part of it.

"An event like this is so heart-warming and heart-wrenching too. We love to hear what all these people are doing and they are all everyday heroes – and just amazing people.

"I read all the nominations and all of these people are extraordinary. They have a drive and enthusiasm to do what they do and they're just all amazing."
