Tesco have recalled a batch of their 'free from' digestives range.

Tesco have issued an urgent recall on a range of their ‘free-from’ digestive biscuits as they may contain small pieces of metal.

The supermarket has asked that people ‘please don’t eat’ the product as they have pulled a batch of the 160g packs.

The affected packages have an end date of March 2023 and are priced at £1.30. No other date batches are affected.

A statement on the Food Standards Agency website states:

“This product may contain small pieces of metal which makes it unsafe to eat.”

It continued: “If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.”

Customers who’ve purchased the biscuits have been advised to contact Tesco on its customer services hotline on 0800 505 555.
