Tain & District Development Trust offer free memberships
FREE individual and business memberships are being offered by Tain & District Development Trust as it works to ensure support is in place for the community and companies during the current upheaval.
The trust said that the individual and Business Development Group memberships will help it to keep people in the loop about its activities as it works on help to support the public.
It has been co-ordinating volunteers and support for those most vulnerable in the area. Its business development manager is also working to determine the greatest needs of all local businesses at this time.
"We have gathered vital resources, guidance for funding, and information from our Business Support Partners," said a spokesman.
"We are also pleased to announce that we are currently working on an online extension to our community markets. This platform will come at no cost to local businesses and will allow businesses to promote themselves, to sell vouchers if they are closed or it can be used as an online marketplace for those still open.
"The whole platform is designed to #LoveLocal and support our local businesses. This will be a vital tool that we can utilise for our tourism strategy in line with feedback from community wide consultations.
