A great turn out of prize winners, committee members and volunteers enjoyed an evening of trophy presentations to round off this year’s Sutherland Show on October 5.

The event, held at the Coach House Restaurant in Dornoch, was followed by a carvery meal as show prizes were presented to the winners by past show secretary, Marie Hay.

Prize winners awarded in all three sections, livestock, horses and food and craft, attended to collect silverware from their competition success back in July.

The evening marks the end of the 2024 events for Sutherland Show, but plans are already well underway for next year’s Sutherland County Show being held on Saturday July 19, 2025 at the Dornoch Links.

A spokesperson for the event said: “The committee would like to thank all those who competed in the 2024 show and to the prize winners for attending the trophy evening.”
