Sudden 'unexplained' death of woman in Tain set to prompt police report to procurator fiscal

THE sudden death of a woman in Easter Ross is being treated by police as "unexplained".

Police yesterday confirmed they had been made aware of the death at a property in Tain yesterday.

A spokesman said: “We were made aware of the sudden death of a woman at a property in the Mansfield Estate area of Tain around 10.05am on Friday, January 20, 2023.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.”
