The awards showcase the most inspiring initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. They recognise outstanding achievement, teamwork and companies.

Strathnaver Museum reopened in May last year following a four-year closure and an ambitious £2.3 million project to upgrade the facility and build a new annexe.

A spokesperson for the museum said it was a “great honour” to be shortlisted and a “testament to the skill and knowledge of our wonderful design and construction team”.

Winners of the RICS awards will be announced on October 4 at a formal dinner ceremony in London .
