Tom and Luke Stoltman ‘real ambassadors’ for strongman sport and the Highlands, says MP
WORLD’s Strongest Man winner Tom Stoltman and big brother Luke are being hailed ambassadors for the Highlands.
Easter Ross MP Jamie Stone is also acknowledging the sacrifices and challenges made by Tom in achieving the accolade for the third time and the work done locally by the Invergordon brothers.
A motion lodged in Westminster by the Tain-based Far North MP follows Stoltman’s stunning success at the competition at Myrtle Beach in California.

MP ‘utterly delighted’ to welcome strongman to Parliament
It reads: “That this House offers its utmost congratulations to Tom Stoltman on his incredible achievement of winning World’s Strongest Man 2024; notes this is the third time he has claimed the title in only four years; further notes the sacrifices and challenges he has faced on his journey; and recognises the inspiring work he and his brother have done to act as ambassadors for the sport at a local level in the Highlands and nationally across the UK.”
Tom, who is Invergordon born and bred, has won the competition three times in the last four years. His older brother, Luke, placed ninth in the competition and has long been Tom’s source of inspiration.
Stone said: “I think I speak for everyone in the Far North when I say we are incredibly proud of Tom. His success is extraordinary. The strength, commitment and determination required to win World’s Strongest Man is quite unthinkable.”
“What makes this achievement even more impressive is everything else that goes around it. Tom and Luke have been real ambassadors for the sport in the community and nationally."
