Are you missing your friends and family?

Have you not seen your partner for weeks?

Are you frightened that you might not see your parents, or grandchildren for months yet?

Have you been missing having time without the children?

Did you miss the funeral of someone you loved or respected?

With gatherings across the UK banned as a result of the coronavirus lockdown, people have been left wondering when they might get to see relatives and loved ones again.

As the lockdown restrictions stand, gatherings of more than two people outside of those in your household are banned.

The subject came up, as the public got a first chance to ask a question at the UK Government’s daily coronavirus briefing.

People have used technology to stay in touch and get vital information – but it's not the same as seeing loved ones face to face.

The question, asked by Lynne, from Skipton in North Yorkshire, she wanted to know when she would be able to hug her grandchildren again.

As the paper of record for Sutherland, we would like to help tell your story.

Are you missing seeing your children or grandchildren? Have you missed saying goodbye to a loved one at a funeral? Have you not met your first grandchild? Are you and your partner living separately because of work or illness? Are you desperate to have a first encounter with a Tinder date? Are you missing your school chums? Are you desperate for a round of golf and a pint with fellow players at the 19th hole?

Whatever your story we want to hear it, and we want to tell them, so that in the future people can hear the ordinary and everyday stories of love and loss in the Highlands during this pandemic.
