Scottish Rugby 'deeply saddened' at passing of Scottish internationalist and former Golspie head teacher David Whyte

Scottish Rugby has published an obituary highlighting the stellar playing career of former Golspie High School head teacher David Whyte, who died on November 24.

David Whyte is survived by his wife Judith, his four sons and 11 grandchildren.

Scottish Rugby said it was “deeply saddened” to hear of the former Scottish internationalist’s death.

Mr Whyte, who was in his eighties, and his wife Judith moved from their Golspie home to Dunfermline some two years ago to be nearer family.
