Scottish Government will pause daily Covid updates over Christmas and New Year holidays

The Scottish Government will not be publishing its daily coronavirus statistics over the four-day holiday weekends at Christmas and New Year.

It says the daily updates will be updated as normal for the rest of the festive period to provide the latest data on the number of new cases of Covid-19 and the test positivity rate.

However, over the holiday weekends of December 25-28 and January 1-4 there will be no updates.

The data for these days will be updated on Tuesday, December 29 and Tuesday, January 5, when the latest daily data for that day and the previous four days will be provided.
