ROAD CLOSED: Collision involving vehicles on A9 near Alness in the Highlands

The A9 at Alness has been closed after an accident.

Police say two vehicles have been involved in a collision at the junction with B9176.

Traffic Scotland state that the route may be closed for some time.

It is not known if anyone has been injured.

Police are asking motorists to seek alternative routes.
