Pupils at Knockbreck Primary were sent home today following a 'major flood' in the main building of the school.

The flood, which occurred some time before 11am, has led to children in primary classes 5, 6 and 7 being sent home for the day.

The school has asked parents and carers to arrange for pupils to be collected at the earliest opportunity.
