Rhoda Kennedy, the school’s active schools coordinator as well as a youth development officer, said the senior pupils were working towards High Life Highland Young Leader Awards and had been “amazing” over the last year.

“They have volunteered their own time to run after-school sports and active games clubs in Tongue, Bettyhill and Melvich,” she said.

“They are also helping to deliver the School’s Out summer programme across the North Coast Campus.

“I am very proud of them all as they do an amazing job as part of our active schools and youth development team here.”
