Readers of the Northern Times have shown a slight majority in favour of the Sutherland Space Hub in our recent online poll.

After a judicial review recently found that Highland Council had followed due process when it granted planning permission to the development in August 2020, we put the question to our digital audience.

The poll, which was active online for seven days from August 27 to September 3, asked: Do you back the development of Sutherland Space Hub on the A'Mhoine peninsula?

With almost 1500 votes cast, the results show 52 per cent in favour of the spaceport being developed in Sutherland, with 48 per cent against.
