A MISSING central belt man may be camping in the Highlands, police believe.
Police Scotland officers in the Forth Valley division have appealed for help tracing Paul Cairney (59), who went missing from his home in Bannockburn more than a fortnight ago.

He is described as 5ft 7ins, with short greying hair and wears glasses. It is not known what he is currently wearing but it is likely to be outdoor clothing and he may have a rucksack and camping gear, including a tent.
Police Constable Graeme Boyle, said: “Paul is a keen walker and camper and may have travelled some distance, including across the Highlands and Islands, to pursue his hobby of visiting and photographing bothies.
“If anyone has seen Paul we urge them to get in touch with us. Likewise, if Paul sees this appeal we ask him to contact us to let officers know that he is safe and well.
“If you have information that could help find Paul please contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1980 of Thursday, 30 July.”
